Chewy, biscuity and infinitely comforting like all brown ales should be.

150ml draught, from a sample tray at Taphouse. Shared with Skinnyviking. A deep dark brownish body under a covering beige head, dotted spots on the glass. Promising aromas of earthy malts with a caramel touch. Impacts of brittle caramel to the taste buds, alongside earth and nuts. Caramel malty finish, slightly roasted. Likeable. (Copenhagen, 03.05.2023).

Draft at the Taphouse, Copenhagen. Poured a hazy medium brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light roasted, liqourice, earthy, nutty, light fake sugary, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
