Our Bock Bock is a strong, Bavarian bock beer,which is decoction mashed and brewed using five different malts (Pilsner Malt, Munich Malt, Carahell, Carared and Wheat Malt) and two kinds of hop. Decoction mashing is an old brewing method. First, you remove part of the wort and heat it separately, before pumping it back into the mash vessel to raise the temperature. This method was particularly effective for controlling the temperature, before the use of a thermometer in the brewing process was discovered. This method provides a special caramelisation from the wort and lends a unique sweetness to the beer.
The two hops used in our Bock Bock Påskeøl also contribute to the beer’s rich, powerful taste and spicy aroma of pear and citrus fruits. Bock Bock is a sweet, rich pilsner-type beer, extra delicious because of the special brewing process and the addition of a little extra hop.

Flavor is sweet malty, very very slightly ripe fruity, bittersweet hoppy, the tasteless euro style hoppy bitterness is quite high. This beer feels stronger than it is, and it is likely very good if you food pair it in a good way.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dal caramello. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido offre una visione offuscata. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è normale e la permanenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di caramello, miele, erbaceo ed agrumi.

50 cl bottle, shared. Clear amber colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, bread and grasses. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Fruity finish. I could use more dryness in this one.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber with an off-white head. Nose is nutty, biscuity, toffeeish - delish. Good, full, malty body paired with all of the above notes plus a surprisingly bitter finish makes this very drinkable and in good balance. 050920

ABV: 6.0%. Hazy - murky matt medium amber orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, caramel, dusty, mash - cereal - bread, moderate hoppy, dusty hops, warm fruit, light grass - straw. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, caramel, rich, fruity malt, dusty, grass - straw, mash - cereal - bread.
