500 ml bottle, from Superbrugsen, Denmark, ABV is 7.5%. Amber to brown colour, moderate white (or slightly off-white) head. Fairly strong aroma of caramel malts and brown bread, a hint of liquorice. The flavour is malty with plenty of caramel, some spicy hops in the finish, a hint of liquorice again. More hops would be desirable, but for a Harboe product this is not too bad.

Mild bitterhet i ettersmaken, kunne gjerne hatt litt mer trøkk her.

Bottle shared at chriso’s in London to commemorate Gene’s visit. Pours clear amber with a foamy off-white head. The nose has tangy semi-dark malts, bread, faint caramel. Light-medium sweet flavor with more tangy, almost tart berries, plum, cherry, bread. Medium bodied with active carbonation. Tart berry finish, some keather, grainy bread. Novel stuff. Not too bad overall.
