Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy golden amber with a decent fluffy head. Nose - grapefruit plus pith. Hint of something tropical. Taste - more grapefruit, more pith and plenty of hop resin. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry bitter finish. Overall - good but on the edge of being too bitter.

An slightly orange beer, a head is blond and medium. Aroma has mild lychee, smooth tropical fruits, some black currants and citrusfruits. Taste has tropical fruits and some citrusfruits, nice and at least medium bitterness that has herbal notes. Some harsh notes in the taste. Body is just strong enough, moderate smoothness. Nice and aromatic, good bitterness.

Bottle from Speciaal Bier winkel Bodegraven, pretty fresh, large sample. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma of citrussy hop, bit green leafs and grassy, bit malty. Harsh and dry bitterness, grassy. Bit too harsh and unbalanced unfortunately.

On tap at Haand Festival. It pours a lightly unclear orange colored body under a finger-thick beige head. Citrus juice, pine cones and some cat pee in the aroma. Cat pee in a nice way of course. Some malts in the back. Thereβs a nice bitterness in the mouth, dealing easily with the malts there is. Citrus peel and pine cones too in the flavor, lasting for a while. Itβs full-bodied and nicely carbonated, pleasantly dryish too. Overall, a refreshing and pleasant pale ale. 150530

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy light orange pour with a soapy white head, aroma has dank citra action, some piss and a hint of caramel, taste has citrus, bitter grapefruit, some biscuit, when I say taste it tastes like things Iβve smelled before, if I had to describe a beer sweet, bitter......unami, this is nice.

Keg at GBBF 2015. It pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. The nose is soft, fresh, juicy, grassy, pine needles, tropical fruit surprise, fresh citrus juice and a hint of microchips. The taste is bitter, toasty, grainy, grapefruit peel, pine needles, earthy, toasty, grapefruit, fennel, brioche and spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, velvety carbonation. Mighty decent.
