Bottle. Dark brown, smaller beige head. Malty nose, biscuits, chocolate and roasted. Gentler smoke in the back. Moderately sweet upfront, dry syrupy fruits, medium bitterness ,roasted finish and lasting smoky aftertaste. Fuller body, some alcohol warmth.

On tap at Holy Craft Beer Bar, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is complex, with plenty of toasted caramel, smokiness, and bready notes. Flavour is rich, with plenty of smoked malt, toasted caramel, bready malt, and a litre iodine. Quite intense, though not brutal at all. Balanced and complex. Very nice.

Bottle. Brown. Nose is toasted, roasted; prunes maybe? Taste is harsh toasted peppercorns, metallic ash, roasted clove - if clove can be roasted. No warmth, but boozy.
