Bottle from Geers. Lot 20220801. Clear golden, no head. Aroma of grape must, horseblanket, wet hay, gooseberry, cheese, damp cellar, green apple. Taste has sour green apple, rhubarb & grapes in a sourdoughy malt body surrounded by funky notes of leather, hay & cheese. Tart grape in the finish, woody tannins (oak, grape skin), some stone fruit and hay. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Nice balance between fruit & funk (damp almost).

Trevlig

375mL bottle, pours a hazy bright golden with a tiny white head. Aroma reveals ascorbic green grape, gentle barnyard funk, and light acidity. Flavour is somewhat citric, some underripe green grapes, and light funk. Very understated green grape, with subdued funk. Nicely done but shy of exquisite.

Poured from a 375 ml bottle with a Lot date of 20220801. Aroma has a medium light green grape notes with hints of stone fruit and lemon. A touch of a yogurt note as well. Light grain notes and a bit of oak. Medium light earthy, herbal funkiness with a touch of grape must. Hints of alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy, golden orange color with a medium large, moderately thick, frothy white head that recedes quickly and disappears. No lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with a medium light acidity and light grain notes. Low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Hints of oak. Moderate green grape notes with a bit of mustiness. Hints of lemon and under ripe apricots. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid lambic from a brewery I had not tried before. Nice grape notes in aroma and flavor with complimentary fruity notes from the fermentation. A decent amount of funk without being overly acidic.

Pale yellow colour with light fizz and no head. Sharp fruity aroma with some oak and lemony notes. Sharp taste but not acidic. It ends dry. There's a definite white wine element with the woodiness and the grape sweetness in the aftertaste.

No head, looks as slightly carbonated white wine. Damp cloth, rainwater, horseblanket - wet horse! Pllus a slightly toasted fruitnose - grapes, but also peach or other yellow fruit. Bretts and leather, elderflower. Flavour is quite aromatic, but with an unsettling aroma of herbal, spiced fruit. Floral (again elderflower) and herbs. Light body, light acidburn, medium carbonation. Nice, if surprising fruitflavour. Txs to Stef!
