Our Bock's Eisbock is an extraordinary and luxurious beer that pushes the boundaries of traditional Doppelbock while delivering an unparalleled taste experience. This exceptionally dark and malty brew combines rich, velvety flavors with an intense sweetness and a hint of chocolate, culminating in a warming aftertaste that lingers on the palate.

The secret to the Eisbock's remarkable character lies in the innovative freeze concentration technique employed by our skilled brewing team. By partially freezing the beer and removing some of the ice, we are able to concentrate the flavors and create a more robust, full-bodied brew. This process amplifies the natural sweetness and chocolate notes, resulting in a harmonious and memorable taste experience.

Tap at brewpub. Dark brown color, tiny beige head. Rye bread, toffee and alcohol in the nose. Full-bodied. Warming. Rye bread, caramel, hops in the flavour. Feels more like malty doppelbock than eisbock.

Draught@Lakeuden Panimojuhlat 2017. Very deep brown, close to black, colour with a minor head. Aroma is quite grassy, with mild alcohol and some herbal notes to it as well. Flavour is grassy, quite bitter and also has quite strong sweet malty notes. A bit less IBU’s than the previous version, yet this one tastes much more hoppier and bitter.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2016) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was non-existent. Aroma had malts, molasses and booze. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were molasses, malts,  sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A good eisbock hiding its ABV very well.
