Bottle bought whilst on a visit to Somerset. Poured dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, fruit, hop and slight bready notes. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Wasn't bad.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Down as RCH, but is it n fact Pitchfork? No aroma. A dark amber. No head. Light bitter with a sweet edge. Fruity and spicy. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat. Lomg finish. Decent. Enjoyable jammy fruit.

Calderdale Beer Festival 2016. My full notes on this beer were sadly lost when the Ratebeer app failed and deleted this and others stored in it.

Smaken zijn vrij zoet, matig bitter, zeer licht zuur, redelijk moutig, licht aards, glad/zacht van textuur, redelijke alcoholsmaak aanwezig, medium body, romig en glad, lage co2, zeer licht fruitig. ok --- Beer merged from original tick of Firebox on 15 May 2018 at 20:48 - Score: 7
