Bottle, 10.1%. Fruity and dusty aroma with a mild caramelly note. Almost clear dark brown colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour is quite/very sweet with a hint of metal, some malt syrup. The alcohol is distinct, but warming and gives the sugar some, but not enough, balance. Tastes good, but I would have liked it with less alcohol and a lot less sweetness.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear copper colour, lively head. Caramelly nose with cardamon and cloves. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with dates and marzipan, quite a lot of cloves. Mildly warming finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Copper colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, xmasspices, mild dried fruits. Flavour is dried fruits, toffee and some mild plum with yeast and nutty elements. Strange.

ABV: 10.1%. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy yeast, belgian yeast, spicy, cake - pebernødder, peppery. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, cake, pebernødder, sweet yeast, candy, belgian yeast. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20230428]

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, reddsih brown with a smallish, beige head. Distinct Xmas spice aroma: cinnamon, cloves, cardamom. Rich, sweet body, overripe dark fruits, plummy, estery - solid Dubbel base - and then the Xmas spices come rushing in and taking over. It's really a matter of whether you like Xmas spices in the beer, because this is perfectly executed considering what they wanted to achieve. 130223

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of prunes, spices, candy sugar, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of prunes, spices, candy sugar, and malt, leading to a dry finish.
