Bottle. Amber-gold color, slightly hazy. Aroma is citrus, with some sweet fruits. The flavor is sweet malts, with hops. Not too bad, best of the three elf beers I had.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of joergen. Slightly hazy, pale amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh, citrusy aroma. Medium-bodied, sweetish fruit notes and very distinct citrus notes. Dry, hoppy finish. Quite lovely really. 110108

500 ml. bottle received as a Christmas gift. Pour is orange - amber clear with an off-white head. Aroma is baking cookies, some hay and an almost chemical sweetness. Taste is the malt sweet malt backbone with a nice clean, crisp hop finish. The chemical from the nose was not apparent in the taste. Palate is a touch watery.

Bottle. Clear light amber orange color with a large, frothy, good / excellent lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Very nice strong ale good balance. ;o)) (181207)

Bronze colour, thick head. Cookie malt and sourish cherries on the nose. Flavour is more sourish cherries followed by a zesty grapefruit bitterness. A bit thin. Quite nice.

Half-liter bottle. Slight whiff of hops yields to standard grainy beer smell. Pours gold with a tinge of amber in the center, and a big head that turns to sponge and leaves lace as it drains. Taste is fine. Not quite the hop bomb they describe, but this is an English brew. However, the malts are mighty nice. Still a bit of graininess, but quite crisp and, well, "light," with a slight honey character. A few more hops come up later on, with a definite American character. A better showcase for English malt than for its hops. Bought from Whole Foods.

quasi ambrata buona schiuma sentori luppolati e di malto in bocca buon corpo malto e decisamente luppolata con diverse qualità che rendono la birra bilanciata

Pours bright amber into an English pint. White head recedes to hug rim. Malty aromas. Creamy caramel upfront with a lasting mild hop finish.

Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007
Hazy golden color. Nice English hops aroma, lightly cheesy (Camembert). Round mouthfeel, malty, sweet, with correct bitterness, black tea too. Not too cold; very good.

Golden colour and medium quite thick white head. Aroma is excellent and there is lot of hops, conifers and lemon. Flavour is strongy bitter but still balanced. Bitterness stays long time in the aftertaste. Reminds Anchor Liberty Ale but flavour is not almost so good. If you like hops you have to try this.
