Imperial Flanders Red con cerezas madurada en barricas de Roble y fudres de Alerce
Nuestro gran amigo Phil Emerson (Head Brewer de Almanac Beer Co) es amante de los gatos y la música, y su pasión por ellos la comparte día a día con las cervezas. Esto nos inspiró para esta colaboración que comenzamos a elaborar en Junio de 2019, cuando visitó Granizo. El resultado es esta intensa cerveza sour, madurada 31 meses en barricas de roble francés y fudres de alerce chileno, y posteriormente refermentanda con cerezas, aportando frescor y balance. Superficial sample from Billie’s craft beer fest 2025. Clear amber under a tan head. Mild wood, smooth malt and balanced acidity. A pleasant one.

Red-brown beer with a good yellow thick head. Fantastic wood/lactic acid/ vinous and red fruitnose, cherries. Sour, with different acids playing, and again red fruit, woody, cherries, other fruit. Lipsmacking acidity, invisible if present carbonation. Long lasting flavours, faintly sticky. Interesting and totally in style.

Clear red brown beer, small creamy off-white head, a little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: diacetyl, caramel, earthy, a hint of vinegar, sour impression, lactic acid. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, good acidity, dry, red fruits, pleasant, earthy, nice, fruity, good! Aftertaste: lots of cherries, earthy, a bit woody, decent stuff, a shame of the diacetyl in the nose.
