This Red stands out in this beer style category. The malt body is as impressive as a bock, albeit in a uniquely Irish way. With an incredibly smooth malt body complimented by caramel tones and perfectly balanced in bitterness, this Irish Red is much more complex than it’s mainstream rivals.

Bottle at home picked up from Tesco supermarche Crumlin. A clear reddish copper brown coloured pour with a a lasting loose magnolia head. Aroma is rustic twiggy malts, brown sugars, brown bread, light chocolate, fruit cake, raisin. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered rustic brown bread, toffee, apple, dried fruits, dirty bark, woodland walk. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, moderate carbonation. Ok.

Color ámbar rojizo, espuma extremadamente cremosa, de excelente retención y residuo. Aroma discreto a malta tostada y caramelo.

From Amstein, St-Légier, drinking this can after a trip at Arosa, in family, two days ago, beautiful landscape, beautiful body when you open the can mixing the gas, the orange, brown, white color, after it is not sensational at the mouth, classica Irish, 01.08.23, tasting it at Sharans.

Red with a good sized tan head. Deeply toasted malts, cracker, semi-sweet malt, earthy hop bite. Medium bodied. Finish is malty with a final snap of bitterness. The hops are more noticeable in the bottled version than the nitro can and I prefer the bottle because of that. It has more character.

Brunrød farge med høyt skum. Lukter mildt av malt og rosiner. Lettdrikkelig med smak av karamell og noe fruktig. Ser meget bra ut.

0.44l can. Aroma of caramel, dark fruit and flowers. Pours clear amber brown color with thick creamy cappuccino-like head, good lacing and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts refreshing dark fruity and grassy, following is caramelly, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild to average bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Mild but explosive…
