Happy bealted 1250-mas! Clear copper pour with a small white head. Aromas of whisk(e)y, sherry, red wine, candied orange, wood, vanilla, red berries. Taste is cream, whisk(e)y, marmalade, sherry, red wine, vanilla, red berries/plums, some (smoked) wood. Nice boozy finish, too.

Bottled, huge thanks people! At Drinkoteka. Hazy red body, off-white head.Red fruit and caramel in the aroma aroma, pleasant vanilla, some grainy touches and alcohol. Lean, dry taste, forest fruit, nutty, tannic touches, pleasant tastes, but too astringent taste-wise, shame.

375mL bottle, pours a dark orangey brown with a small beige head. Aroma is fairly hot, with lots of whiskey barrels, perfumey notes, bready malt, and toasted caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready caramel, toffee, and some perfumey whiskey barrels. A bit jagged, lacking refinement, and somewhat chaotic. Not an expert barley wine by any means, but works OK. Decent.

Draught @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren. Pours clear very dark amber with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, chocolate, dried fruit, vanilla, light whisky. Flavor is light sweet, rich malty, caramel, toffee, light chocolate, vanilla, barrel, light whisky and sherry notes, some alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, light sweet finish with warming alcohol. 190923
