Julen 2014 Smell- medium strong, malt, bit acidic. Foam-thin, malt, faint Belgian, faint caramel, faint roast. Head is small, light brown white color. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, simple label. Dark ruby color, close to black, clear. No carbonation. From - snifter Taste - malt, faint roast, faint caramel, some Belgian notes. Generally very neutral and drinkable, nothing amazing though. Alcohol is well hidden here. Quite refreshing in a way. After some time it even feels better. Increased the score.

Bottle, bryg 3. Anis and orange fruit in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with anis, orange peels and coreander. Hops are restricted to the background, although noticeable. Somewhat sugary. Mango. Powerful and tasty beer, although a bit too sweet, but the balance is good and the alcohol is well hidden.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Ekstremt mørkebrun. Lavt tett skum med tett lacing. Tung komleks aroma. Mørk frukt. Svisker. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Smaken litt det samme. Alkoholen skinner gjennom. Blir litt ensformig.

2014 brew in bottle from local supermarket. Pours hazy dark brown with a nice persisting creamy beige head and some lacing. The aroma is very strong, nearly overwhelming. It is malty with loads of caramel, yeast, dried fruits (raisins), artificial sweeteners, alcohol, spices (anise?). The taste is very sweet; some hops have been used, but not enough to balance the sweetness. Almost cloying. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, full bodied. A strong, bold Christmas beer.

Bottle (2013 edition). Pours clear dark coffee brown with small offwhite head. Aroma is heavy malt, brunt sugar, caramel, overripe apples, hints of cinnamon. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter and light acidic. Body is medium oily with good carbonation. Finish is long and light bitter with notes of citrus, caramel, malt, wine and light spices (pepper, cinnamon, cloves). Nice and mild.

På fat. Smak och doft av malt, choklad, örtig, torkad frukt med toner av trä, läder, laktris. Frisk, fruktig, len i gommen och med en lätt beska. Väldigt gott.
