[Drauhgt @ Lord Nelson] hazy amber with tiny beige head. Hoppy aroma with grapefruit notes. Hoppy and fruity flavor with caramel notes that leads to a bitter finish.

Bottle from Papsoe; nose of flowery, piney hops; Rusty red with a medium-large beige head; flavor of hop bitterness, pepperiness, toffee, and bitterness in the medium body. Very dark color and a lot of malt for an IPA!

[bottle] Dark reddish amber with a large, thick head. Resinous, somewhat perfumy hop aroma. Really, really bitter with slight burnt touch, is it the rye? Long bitter finish. A bit perfumy, but still a great IPA.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 2 June 2007) Amber colour, hazy, with foamy off-white head. Fruity nose with grapefruit, resin, citrussy hops and a hint of dark rye in the background. Fruity, hoppy taste with grapefruit, pine needles and a hint of rye. Rather dry, very hoppy finish with spicy hints of spruce. Medium body, mainly dry. Very hoppy, with the rye charcter staying in the background. Very nice beer.

A hazy dark reddish amber ale witg a thin light moka head. A wonderful pleasant pinhey hops in aroma, reminiscent of a bag of hops, light citrus, resinous, veering on Californian! Wow. In mouth, a restrained and classy IPA, with mentholated hops, chunks of citrus, caramel malt, and warming alcohol. Rich and complex, naturally carbonated. I’ve been drinking crap all week, and now this! Marries well with the Guiness cheddar, rounding off the bitterness, but killed the smoked gouda.

Bottled. Extremely cloudy brownish orange colour with a small beige head. Aroma is strong flowery fruity. Sa,e in flavour along with yeast. The flavour was not that balanced though, and quite a disappointment compared to the aroma.
