Swing top bottle. dark brown color. Rosebuds, cinnamon, plums, blackcurrant and hops in the aroma. Full bodied. Herbal hopbitter flavor with rosebuds, plums, dried fruit. Malty sweet. Coreander in the aftertaste. Decent balance, and loads of flavor.

Bottle @ Jesperhus Camping. Pours dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, candy sugar, spice, dark fruits. Flavor is light sweet, malty, yeast, candy sugar, spice, raisins, figs. Medium body, soft carbonation, light warming alcohol. 120909

Flaska från SB. Julöl 2013. Ölfabrikken har en särskild plats i mitt hjärta som det första danska mikrobryggeri jag provade efter att ha upptäckte Barley wine-butiken i Köpenhamn. På den tiden hade ÖF etiketter som såg ut att vara tillverkade med hjälp av en gammal skrivmaskin. Detta öl löper tillbaka till den tiden men jag undrar i hur hög grad det är samma brygd. Nu är flaskan ett drygd år gammal men humlen lyser helt med sin frånvaro. Istället någonting som liknar engelsk strong ale eller dubbelbock med söta maltsmaker. Karameliserat socker, farin, smörkakor dominerar smakbilden. Jag tror att året i kälaren gjort det gott för smakbilden hänger ihop ch sötman över inte överväldigande funkar ganska bra på julbordet. Men långt ifrån den wow.upplevelse jag fick 2006 och som jag minns än idag.

Bottle. Clear deep brown liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of bread, earth, caramel, toffee, raw sugar, raisins and toast. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of bread, toffee, caramel and raw sugar. Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
