Bottle. Ornage brown color, steady frothy head. Licorice, herbal hops and a hint of red berries in the aroma. Firm herbal hopbitter flavor with licorice and red berries. Long earthy hopbitter aftertaste. A taste bomb that could be a bit more balanced.

Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2013. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Very moderate aroma, with only a discrete hint of juniper berries. In the medium sweet and malty flavour the juniper berries come through a bit more, but do not dominate. Very moderate hops.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ido’s place. Thanks Hansen & Zita for this bottle! Slightly hazy amber. Aroma of malt, infected yeastiness (a bit sour-like) and a bit of spiciness. Sweetish flavor with malt, some yeast, caramel notes, fruits and light spiciness. Medium-bodied.

33 cl bottle (5,8%) @ Gastropub Nordic. Rated on 20.11.2010
Aroma is a bit stale and sweet with berries and some caramel. Flavour is sweetish with caramel, some berries, toffee and hints of resin. A bit odd. Is this the berry they put in every other Danish ale?
