Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Dark ruby, small beige head. Aroma of cinnamon and cane sugar. Fairly sweet with clean mouthfeel. Bready with notes of raisnins and herbal spices, surprisingly bitter finish. Really good with its concentrated flavours.

50 cL bottle, 3 L bottle and tap several times since the first release. Pours red/brown with light brown head. Aroma is strong, clear alcohol notes, berries, spice, roasted malt and liquorice. Taste has all the same elements in wineous blend, but notes just explode into a firework of taste - fantastic but perhaps slightly too strong and overwhelming.

(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen) Very dark mahogany colour with ruby notes, small off-white head. Fruity nose with cherries and chocolate, lots of malt in the background. Fruity taste with chocolate, dark fruit, orange and cherries. Underlying malt gives it a full body. Slightly wineous. Brilliant balance between malt, fruit, sweetness and spicy hops. Great beer.

Bottle. Dark reddish brown with a creamy white foam. Deep fruity and slightly vinous aroma of dried cherries, figs, raisin, toffee and alcohol. Warming but still well-balanced flavour of cherries, blackberries. Undertones of wood. Long warming and fruity aftertaste.

Bottled, vintage 2004. Dark copper, with a dense beige head. Quite a lot of sediments. Dried fruits, sugar, alcohol, spices and caramel in the aroma. Some cellar-notes too, after a while. Lovely flavor too, with alcohol, brown sugar, dried fruits and spices. The finish is warming and spiced, and the body is full and sweet. The only thing I could wish for is a bit more fullness in the taste. It certanily ages well for a couple of years. (060803)

On tap at Carlsens kvarter(Odense). Dark brown with white head. Sweet aroma of dark fruits ans malts. Medium body-OK. The average christmas spices like korianderand clove. The finish is a bit warm from alcohol. One of the better products from the brewery
