Bottle from MiP. Amber color. Somewhat vinous aroma and flavor with caramel, milk chocolate and candy fruit. Plums. Sweetish malty flavor, somewhat thin, with caramel and chocolate. A nice and quite tasty beer.

Nice amber color with a fine white head. Caramel malty and light fruity nose. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Smooth caramel, mild fruity and some pleasan hoppy notes. Fresh session able beer.

On tap. Reddish amber body with a fine, big off-white head. Aroma is weak malty and fruity. Flavor is light malt, caramel, some fruit, not very bitter. Thin body, quite average all the way without any outstanding flavors. Quaffable, but a bit boring.

Canned, thanks oh6gdx! Clear amber, creamy head. Fruity floral nose. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly malt with light cardboardy notes. Floral, almost estery with mild resiny bitterness.

(6,4,7,3,13) can 33cl. bbf 03.01.09. red/brown with nice offwhite large head. sweet dusty/grainy aroma, resembles belgian a little bit. nice flavor, very nice for a macro. grainy/dusty, hops, honey, watermelon, slight dark fruits if you let it warm up. very well composed. much better than most macros at this ABV. (aroma a little metallic, but we’re close to best before date. flavor is metallic and bitter. taste of old beer conclusion must be that this beer can’t stay fresh till BBF date) re-rate another can bf 3.1.09 bought just a few days ago.

(Draught at Old English Pub, Copenhagen 27 July 2008) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with dried fruit, caramel and brown sugar. Fruity, malty taste with notes of nuts, dark fruit, brown sugar and a sweet, almost cloying finish. Slightly chemical and way too sweet. Not very good (as expected I suppose).

Bottle. Darkish brown in colour. Sweet nose. Hint of malted chocolate. Quite solid across the tongue. Not too bad.
