Bottled (Beerangel, BB 06/2009). Deep red color, small beige head. Coffeish/toasted, grainy, caramel malty aroma. Weak palate. Some caramel, light toasted malts, coffee, metallic notes with foaming mouthfeel. Light licorice and caramel in the aftertaste. Cheap feeling.

Bottled (as Nighting Ale, from beerangel.de). Rubyish amber colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some grass and mild notes of yeast as well. Flavour is metallic, some fruityness along with hops and mild salty notes. Some wet wooden notes as well as it warms up a bit.

33 cL bottle, as Nighting Ale. Pours clear golden deep amber with a small tan head, quite fizzy and shortlived. Aroma is surprising fruity hops, light ale yeasty and dry malty. Flavour reveals a nice set of peach citrus and apple flavoured hops notes alongside a mild fruity note. Smooth hoppy and roasted caramel/munich malt into a nice finish. Nice and pleasant surprise.
