Bottled as "Dunkles Weizen" (BB 11/2007)
Dark hazy nut brown color, beautiful creamy brown head, lace. Raisins, banana and leather in the nose. Dry weizen, starts light with toasted notes but in the finish smoked ham dominates. Could more complex .. anyway interesting enough to finish a bottle.

Bottle: Deeper amber coloured, mid-sized, quite lasting off-white head; sourish-fruity and dark-malty/roast-malty nose; moderate sweetish flavour with a very light acidity, light to medium-bodied; a bit thinnish finish: citrus-fruit, dark malt with a slightly lingering acidity. Drinkable, no sensation.........

Gutes Bier! (bottle) Murky brown colour with a huge tanned foamy head. Toastmalty, yeasty and clove-spicy aroma. Bittersweet flavour, medium body. Malty taste with yeasts and cloves and a rather unharmonic bitter finish. Decent.
