Bottle picked up from a random Getränkemarkt in Straubing and consumed at home Sunday 9th March 2025 listening to Heartworms - Glutton for Punishment. We’ve got homemade Chimichanga with Thomasina Miers Chilli. Pours deep brown, bubbly but the head rapidly departs, malty, caramel, a little dusty hop, some liquorice. Nice mouthfeel, very soft. Actually on reflection the liquorice is quite prominent.

Malty aroma with a hint of licorice. Thick texture with some roasted malt and pepper. Very malty. Some grapes. Tasty bock beer.

bottle (Gruß nach Bochum!). Deep dark brown colour with a decent and creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate. Full-bodied, intensivele malty with flavours of caramel, chocolate, raisins and plums. Very nice indeed.

(bottle) Clear, reddish brown colour with a foamy mid-sized tanned head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with notes of molasses, caramel and subtle fruity notes. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a moderate, slightly crispy carbonation. Toasty malt-character with a tinge of molasses; sweet and slightly toasted finish with light but rounded hoppy notes. Reliable Bock. 23.X.09

Bottle: Clear, copper-amber coloured, small and quite quickly diminishing beige head; solid, not too sweet, caramelly toasty nose with a very faint touch of hops, dried fruits and molasses in the second row; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet fruity and almondy-malty finish with a little bitter-chocolatey aftertaste. Very decent Bock......
