Bottle: Hazy & golden, big - "really whipped-cream-like" (slag = whipped cream) white head that very slowly collapses, slightly yeasty-phenolic and fruity, but mainly herbal-hoppy nose, some minerals detectable, too; sweet-bitter flavour, really soft; light herbal-hoppy and yeasty-malty finish. What a rarity: a tasty and well balanced Belgian Lager.....

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear yellow with a rough white head. The aroma is sweet malty - rather clean actually. Medium body, sweet clean malts and a little metal. Discreetly bitter. More like a German Pils. 230310

[330ml bottle, gift from Jim - cheers!] Very pale gold, moderate white head, rather too fizzy. Floral aroma continues into the flavour, although there’s a bit of cardboard there. Dry at first, it grows pleasantly sweet with a little resinous pine in the finish. Not bad for a lager; a big improvement on most of the macros.

Bottle at Belgo, London
Blond color. I expected a lame beer, instead it’s a pleasant Pils: some malt aroma, creamy; even better malt flavor, with a cereal and honey touch, possibly even crispy, and a good quality hopping. Easy but pleasant.

Belgian yeast aroma. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is also a lot like Belgian yeast. Some bitterness. Tastes a lot like a Belgian blond. Not a pils, but not bad either.

Bottled. Clear golden, dense but fair sized head. Aroma of hay, viola and butterscotch. Medium sweet with fair amounts of hops. Diacetyl gives cellary butterscotch tones. Light-medium bodied with reasonable bitterness.
