Cookie dough aroma with a hint of cinnamon. Sweetish cookie dough flavor (Bastogne koeken!). Malty with a touch of bitterness coming up in the aftertaste. Better as expected.

Flasche von Erzengel, vielen Dank! Klare dunkel orangebraune Farbe, ordentliche beige Schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, leicht hopfig, Karamell. Geschmack nach reifem Obst, leicht röstmalzig süß, gering hopfig, naja!

Malty nose, slightly sweetish. The beer starts smooth and mild. Not very deep, malty-sweetish and easy to drink. A bit worthy, but the malty-sweetish character dominates the picture, nearly no bitterness - only in the very end it gets a bit bitter. Malty-sweetish in total - but not too sweet or sticky. Still easy to drink.
Highly drinkable, but not what an Alt should taste like. More a sweetish Dunkel!

Bottle looks a bit cheap but okay. Beer in the glass brownish-copper coloured, small head. Starts mild-malty, some dry notes, quite mild. Modest roasty background. Spicy aftertaste. Okay.

Test vom 4.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,6,7,7,9,7 - 7,15

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry and slightly bitter finish.

Bottle, 4.8%. Weak spicy aroma, slightly soapy. Clear light brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is malty, more like a Dunkel, creamy and slightly spicy. Good.
