Süß-getreidiger Beginn, etwas pappig, dunkel, metallern. Deutlich herb, getreidig bleibend, dann dunkles Malz, moderate Bitterkeit. Weich, minimal karamellig, pappiger Abgang. 9/7/9/7/8/8

Gold with a frothy, white head. Lovely aroma—mostly floral but with a mix of lemon zest and fresh grains. Taste is bitter the whole way through. Clean, crisp, refreshing feel. Good!

Bottle, Bierzwerg. Clear golden, fine carbonation, low head. Light spicy malt base, chewy, medium to light body, Grain notes, some umami, spicy herbal hops, grassy staying power, light salty finish. Moreish.

Thanks Fin! Clear golden. Aroma is cornflakes harsh malt. A bit of that stinky lager aroma but not too much. Taste is hearty malt sweetness with good body of light bitter hoppy counterpoint and some rough woody mossy flavours. Quite complex (for a classic lager) and full bodied. Not bad.

500 ml bottle. Unclear golden with a foamy head. Intense grain, hay, bread, marzipan, again hay and grain, grapefruit zest, slightly metallic. Hoppy bitterness, sticky grainy sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, hoppy bitter grainy sweet finish. An intense Märzen very grainy yet rather hoppy. Not bad!

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Saturday 1st July 2023 sat outside it's been sunny and also cloudy, the temperature is very pleasant though, we'll be cooking Spiced Koftas with Grilled Flatbread and Tomato- Zaatar Dressing, listening to The Viagra Boys- Cave World. Pours clear gold with a large white head. Nice softness, malty and with a honey sweetness, easy drinking, there is in fact a little touch of dryness and with a very simple bitter bite. It's a good beer.
