White painted 75 cl bottle. No foam at all. Vinous, woody aroma with a touch of hops. Very malty, almost peppery flavor with a dash of hops. Long hopbitter aftertaste with a touch of licorice. Very low on carbon.

9/I/14 - 33cl bottle from De Bierloods / Zytholoog (Adegem) @ home - BBE: 2010 (2014-23)
Clear dark orange to amber beer, creamy smooth off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of honey, orange peel, bit musty, caramel, sweet, a bit off, some rotten fruit. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, orange juice, orange peel, honey, bit sour, caramel, grains. Aftertaste: lots of orange, little sourish, honey, bit spicy. It's an aged bottle of course, but I like old beer, and this one is not too bad.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm, 13 Dec 2011) Hazy amber colour with brief, foamy head. Malty, slightly toasty nose with dried fruit and possibly a trace of oxidization. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, toast, prunes, orange, a touch of chocolate and a slightly spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Decent, but I suspect this could have been an old bottle.

Bottle: Deep golden, cloudy, lots of U.F.O.’s visible, stable&lacy off-white head; solid caramelly-fruity nose; solid sweet-bitter flavour as well, nearly full-bodied; lemony tartness and a slight bitterness can be found in the nearly solid sweet-bitter finish. Pretty decent "fat" brew, but not too subtle.....

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, slightly orange-golden coloured hue with particles floating around and a medium-sized slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty and sweet (cara-)malty aroma with a delicately fruity touch of apricots and citrus, accompanied by notes of marzipan, ginger and herbal spices. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a calm carbonation. Biscuity malty taste with a subtle fruity touch and spicy notes; sweet malty and moderately spicy finish with a whiff of alcohol shining through. All in all not bad. 05.XII.10

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt, spices, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices - especially cloves, and strong notes of fruit - especially peaches and oranges, as well as light notes of alcohol, leading to a dry, bitter, and spicy finish.
