Bottle. Rich brownish-ruby colour. Aroma is quite pleasant, caramel, toffee and some wine. Taste: wine and sweetness, caramel, a little dried fruit, some bitterness, burnt sugar, good.

Bottle from Tbone_, thanks! Dark brown color. Roast, coffee and apple syrup in the aroma. Sweet flavor with apple syrup, dark chocolate, roast and caramel. Perhaps not the best porter qualitywise, but not without complexity and I really liked it.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Appearance is clear red with nice sparkle, negligible beige head that fades to a ring quickly and light soapy film lacing. Aroma is strong European earthy hops, pear and malts. Taste is pear, earthy hops and light malt. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with creamy, slick texture, average carbonation and sweet finish. Overall, strange for a baltic porter--tasted most similar to Samuel Smith’s Organic Pale Ale (a bitter) than anything else. Didn’t wow me for a style I usually love.

Bready stewed apple, dates, and raisins nose, hints of walnut. Cloudy brown, thin tan head. Raisins and dates, figs, wheat bread. Figs and plums are especially pronounced in the finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Paler and fruitier than most examples of the style. Drinks more like a belgian dubbel.

50cl bottle from somewhere in Vilnius, probably Rimi. Pours clear mahogany with an off-white head. Malty aroma with heavy caramel notes, dark dried fruit and hints of alcohol. Sweet, almost cloying, too much caramel for my taste, but fairly drinkable. Fair enough.

500ml bottle picked up at tres bonne. Pours out a deep mahogany topped with a small tan head. nose is heavy sweet milk chocolate caramel and roast malts. The taste is more of the heavy sweetness rich malts and a odd metallic note on the end. Well happy to say this is my first Lithuania tick.

Bottle from Tres Bonne Cuisine. A bit musty, sweet malt that obliterates any of the roast grain nature, making it closet to a dark lager. Dark brown pour with miniscule head. Mostly sweet malts in aroma and taste, but bottle dating is obscured, so can’t tell if it’s past shelf life. My gut says possibly....still not horrible, but a disappointing porter.

500ml bottle. Pours a firm fawn-coloured head resting over a ruby-brown coloured body. Crocheted lacing. Sweet taste of dark and dried fruits. The taste character is also very sweet containing prunes, raisin, caramel, and apricot. Just a little bite of roastiness to the finish. Fine bodied. Nice, but far too sweet in the long run (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 11.11.2014).
