Bottle. Rather light, fresh aroma of medium dark fruit. A mahogany color with a very thin beige head. Thin to medium body with decent carbonation. Flavor is dilute raisin and plum over roasted malt. Not at all thick and heavy. Finishes rather clean with toasted malt notes and remnants of dried fruits. Finally develops some chocolate. Quite different from expected.

Bottle, 6.8%. Fruity, vinous aroma. Nicely roasted flavour, creamy and vinous. Some port. Barley bitterness, but hidden by alcohol. Could have done with a lot less fruit.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown/deep amber with a dense orange/tan head. Aroma is malty and dried fruity. Flavour holds a chocolate to a roasted malt base. Lingering fruity note on top. Ends with a smooth chocolate and light acidic note into the finish.

50cl bottle- Dark brown with a tan head and tinges of red in the colour. Not very dark for a porter and reminiscent of A. Le Coq Porter in appeance but still quite attractive. Fruity aroma with raisins and other dried fruits. The aroma is also slightly vinous and alcoholic. Roasted, malty taste with coffee and plain chocolate which is pleasantly bitter in the aftertaste. Very good.

Bottle. Deep garnet-brown with a big, foamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and some red fruit. Sweet corn flavour, but tempered by a bitter finish and some fruitiness. Enjoyable.

500ml bottle - Pours dark brown though actually kind of light for a porter. It has a big, fluffy, fading head. The aroma is roast malts with some milk chocolate notes. It tastes of roast malt and quite a bit of chocolate. The body is medium at best. I was expecting something a little heavier. It’s a fairly good beer, but no more.

[bottle] Brown colour. Frothy head. Aroma is sweet toffee and liquorice. Smooth and sweet flavour. Some roastiness and hints of liquorice. Some alcohol in the finish. Tastes more like a Bock than a Porter.
