Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 19/05/24. Hazed orange with a well presented lasting creamy white cap. Nose is bitter orange, citric tinged straw, grass, pine nip, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, melon, papaya, grass, pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced juicy come grassy hop bitterness allied to a light boost. Decent enough clean and easy drinking DIPA.

Can. Mildly hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, a modest dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, sweet enough but with a whisper of grain. Hops being light nibbly hop spice, crisp pine and a good juicy tropical fruits and citrus. Light hop spicy finish. A very light and crushable dipa, would be superb if not for that mild grainy element to the malts. If memory serves, and frankly it often lets me down, I don't think this is the first time I have had said something similar about a Barrier beer. Good shit, just not quite Premiership.

Can, from Trader Joe's, Manhattan. Pours extremely hazy dark yellow like peach juice, foamy large off-white head, citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter citrus-peach taste, faint coriander flavor, thin body, long juicy finish. Quite juicy.

Ridiculously hazy and straw yellow coloured body with a very large, four to five centimetre tall tan and creamy golden head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of citrus fruits, lactose, cream, flowers and some light grassiness with a touch of pineapples and alcohol noticeable at the end, too. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich, orange juicy notes show at first with a lot of lactose, cream, vanilla and wheat components, that bring out a dry herbal finish at the conclusion, but some honey sweetness pokes through as well, with a bit of alcohol. Aftertaste is pretty nice with some deep citrus sweetness, a lot of wheat, vanilla, lactose and some tropically, pineappley notes, but the orange and grassy notes are strongest with not much alcohol noticeable, but still a lot of body. Overall, a nice orangey and robust, lactosey, rich IPA that borders on Imperial Status, but goes down pretty easily, without much alcohol pungency nor hop bitterness. Good to sample, pretty fresh as well, but don't like the price I paid for this - avoid Beer Table at GCT if you can, but it is convenient of course! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Beer Table in New York (Grand Central Terminal, 42nd St), New York on 15-January-2022 for US$10,00!! canned on 11-November-2021 and sampled at my house back here in Washington on 09-May-2022. 8,5,8,4,16

Can. Moderately hazy orange with a good cm of white head that's soon a coat. 3+ Shyish aroma of ripening tropical fruit, grapefruit, bubblegum, crackers. So it tastes until there's a stemmy note I didn't love at the moderately bitter end. OK but very strong for what it offers.
