1l plastic bottle from a Russian supermarket. Clear deep golden yellow, large white head. Looks alright but smells very very fruity, almost like old fruit juice. Sweet and veeery fruity indeed, in a very strange way, not pleasant at all. This does hardly taste like beer, more as I imagine fruit juice that has been left open for a few weeks, mixed with old socks. Good heavens, I’ve tasted some really fine beers from Ukraine, but this is not going to be one of my favourites. Perhaps, or probably, something was wrong with the bottle – it was a special offer and there was no use-by date on the bottle.

500ml Bottle - Golden in colour with mild carbonation and a foamy white head. Fresh and grassy aroma with malt. Malty and clean tasting although slightly flat despite being tangy on the tongue at first. Goes down well on a hot day but is nothing special.

Medium white head; clear yellow body with ongoing carbonation. No discernible aroma. Rounded, empty taste with an acidic, lemony finish. Decent, and slightly interesting, on account of the lemon. (0.5l bottle.)
