A special brew on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the brewery, first presented during the festival from August 21 to 25, 2003. It is brewed with the best ingredients and includes three times as many as a “simple” beer! This Tripel is “dry” with a fruity nose and, because of the Belgian hops, a long bittery aftertaste, which give this beer its full character. A heartwarming golden beer to enjoy quietly.

Tasted at Belgium Comes to Cooperstown, July 16, 2005. Hazy golden ale with a thin white head. Light sweet malt with notes of orange peels. Nice sweet malt in mouth, not too sweet, with curacao and corianders, lightly lactic. Good alcohol warmth. Medium bodied.

[Draft at ZBF 2004] The aroma is sweet malty with notes of yeast and corriander. The color is an unclear orange and it has a fine collapsing head. The flavor is powerful of corriander with alcohol running over the tongue. It is both dry and fresh - a very nice beer.

(Draught)Orange-gold; little head, going lacey. Dry nose - some hops, tinge of candi sugar, dry hopping? VERY dry taste, virtually no restsweetness. Yet the attenuation seems to be lower than most tripels: fairly well-bodied. Only in the palate a whiff of sweetness appears. Aroma is more than OK - typical hoppy.
