We blended equal proportions of Malbec and Marselan grapes from our friends at Domaine Le Novi in Luberon, France, with our Danish Wild Ale to create this fruity, rounded and structured beer/wine hybrid.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 28.02.2026) im 2024-07 getrunken. In diesem dunkelrote Ale zeigen sich Fruchtaromen von Brombeeren und Rote Johannesbeeren. Dazu kommen sanfte Tanin-Aromen durch die Fasslagerung. Alles wie Aromen, Säure, Alkoholgehalt sehr gut ausbalanciert. Ein tolles Ale!

Pink head gone in seconds over deep burgundy red beer. Vinous, red - yes - Burgundy. Cherries, grapes. Earthy, undergrowth, mushrooms - in a civilized way. Red fruit, berries, lighter than the nose suggested. Vinous; deep winey flavours arrive later, making it deep-complex. Light alcohol/acidthinning; low carbonation. Again an absolutely mind-blowing beer from Mikkeller Baghaven. I'm not a big adept of beerpairing - but I figure this would be an absolute blast with a runny French cheese - preferably goat's cheese. Deep red wine colour with no head and fine, lasting carbonation. Aroma of fruity berry and grape. Touch of vanilla in both aroma and taste. Relatively mild in terms of funk and sourness bit there's a pleasant oak element and lots of fruit.

Bottle at Drinkoteka, thx ppl! Clear red body. Funky grape and cherry aroma,. Sour and funky, sweet and smooth red wine taste, sweet more than sour, and yet quite wine-like (more so than beery!). Some spicy touches, some tart cherry notes, quite pleasant. I can definitely see where Marduk's rating came from, but I personally enjoyed it quite a bit!
