Bottle at HopDog. Cloudy amber golden. Banana cream and cloves. Taste is soft, very round, chewy, light whipped banana cream and almonds.

Bottled, huge thanks Ryan! Murky tan vody, off-white head. Banana aroma, pear, red apple, sweetish, malty. Sweetish, dry taste, red apple, glue, creamy caramelly, fun, imperfect, but it has a herbal-bitter finish. Not bad.

Flaska från Bierothek. Disig honungsfärgad vätska med högt vitt skum. Mogen banan, nejlikor, jäst, vetedeg, kladdig vetelängd. Stilmässigt halvvägs mellan en hefe och en vetebock. Gott

Murky very hazy amber colour, white foam. Nose of banana, citrus, wheat. Taste... Tart, sour, infected. A pity.
Rerate november 2025. Lovely, sweet, banana, wheat notes. Great balance.

500 ml bottle, bb 18.06.22 Dark orange, hazy body, with a big, dissipating, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of banana cake, vanilla, bread, spices, citrus, wheat. Tastes similar, with more grains. Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes medium sweet, spicy, yeasty, bready, fruity, citric. Very nice. A pretty typical Weizenbock, but very well balanced and quaffable, with a lovely mix of fruity and spicy notes and a smooth malt body. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15

0,5l bottle at home bought from Bierothek Vienna. BB 18.06.2022. yellow murky color, medium big white head. smells of peaches, light joghurt, yeasty, esters, cloves, ripe fruits, light tobacco, marzipan. nice smell overall. full body, light carbonation. tastes of peaches, rather heavy, esters, spices, some cloves, peach purree, honey, bit citric. finishes heavy and lightly sweet with notes of peaches, cloves and spices. Overall the flavor profile is great, lots of peaches, but somehow it doesnt work very well, feels very heavy, also the beer makes lots of foam, but somehow the carbonation is quite light when drinking. Decent to good beer, but not great.

Weizenbock mit 7,0 % Alkohol und unbekannter Stammwürze. Farblich würde ich das gerade noch so als hellen Bock durchgehen lassen. Enorme Menge Hefe, die es aus der Flasche auszuschütteln gilt. Den Alkohol schmeckt man als erstes und das recht deutlich. Dunkles Malz blitzt ganz kurz auf. Dann übernehmen Fruchtnoten (geht Richtung Blutorange). Schön weich, trotz Substanz erstaunlich süffig. Gut und nicht uninteressant, lediglich der Alkohol ist für „nur“ 7,0 % etwas zu dominant im Geschmack.

Merkendorfer Hummel-Bräu Weizen-Bock, Flasche (MHD: 18.06.22) von Landbierparadies24. - Trübes Kupferrot. - In der Nase mild säuerliches Weizenmalz mit Hefe, Zimt, Banane und Klee, feine Malzsüße, ein wenig Orangenmarmelade und feine zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk spritzig weizenmalzig mit deutlicher fruchtiger Säure, mildem Zitronensaft, unreifer Banane und Klee. Unter der prominenten aber noch nicht unangenehmen Säure verbirgt sich milde Weizenmalzsüße. Gut rezent, spritzig; kaum bocktypisch. Noch im Abgang mild säuerlich und nur sehr mild hopfenherb. - Trotz fernen MHDs schon deutlich angesäuert aber noch gut trinkbar. Könnte vielleicht als Gose-Bock durchgehen; einen Weizenbock stelle ich mir aber anders vor. (15.3.2022.)
