Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (10/06/2023) - Dark roasted and toasted malty with notes of cocoa, touch of coffee roast, some great piney citrus fruity hop hits coming through, medium plus body, dark malty and hoppy into the close. Almost black IPA like, wet nice.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma is very chocolatey with some roast malts and piney hops. Taste is the same, very chocolatey, roast/coffee, piney and citrusy hops with a bitter finish. Definitely getting some BIPA vibes from this which I absolutely love, though I'll say it's more malty than hoppy so retains its porter-y-ness.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Dark brown body with a rocky beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine and berries. Flavour of grapefruit, pine and peppery earth. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A hoppy, piney porter. If I tried this blind, I’d never have guessed it was a dark beer.

Tap at the Prague Beer Fest 2023. Blackish body, tan to off-white head. Sweetish fruity-hoppy aroma, maltiness, lean somewhat, orange.Dry taste, coconut, orange, sweetish citrus on a full malty body, keeping things together, some dark malt touches. This is excellent, indeed somewhere between a black IPA and a hoppy porter, but it really IS leaning more on the porter side body-wise. Just makes sense - huge props guys!

Foamy tan head on a dark brown body. Conifer, resin & malt aroma. Medium bodied, sharp dry & clean. Bitter, malt, pine, resinous & hoppy tastes with a pithy finish. Excellent.
