pitch black, brown head that soon disappears
boozy aroma of roasted malts, bourbon, faint dried dark fruits, faint dark chocolate.
flavor is hard roasted malts, vanilla, wood notes, chocolate, coconut.
pretty solid pastry porter although the added stuff almost drowns out the roasted malts and the barrelling so comes off as a bit sort of artificial.

Draft at the Hair of the Dog BKK 11th anniversary party! Thanks Manuel! Poured almost black in colour with a thin broken tan head. The aroma is roasty, chocolate. The flavour is over moderate sweet and liquorice bitter, with a silky smooth, rich, roasty, maple syrup, chocolate, liquorice bitter, warm boozy alcohol bitter paste. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Black colour, small head. Aroma is maple, some sugary, burnt sugary and roasted tones with mild nutty tones with some alcohol sweetness too. Flavour is quite similar to the aroma, but also even more sweet. Way too sweet for it's own good. Gets almost a bit metallic in the finish.

Flaska från SB. Opak kolsvart oerhört trögflytande vätska med lågt skum. Stor doft med maplesirap, praliner, rostad kokos, bourbon och massor av kladdig choklad. Väldigt koncentrerad smak. Maffigt och gott men för mycket.
