Bottled. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Huge bubblegum and sassafras aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Dominated by bandaid, notes of banana. Minimal bitterness.

a) 0.5l swing-top bottle.
Test vom 15.1.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,10,10,12,8 - 9,65

Dennoch gut. 10/12/10/10

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass a bit darker than exspected, nice head. Starts malty-yeasty, not too dry. Interesting hints of caramel. Mild fruity like apricot. Well balanced finish and quite drinkable. Good!

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with stable, creamy off-white head. Clear aroma of yeast, hops and banana. Mildly sweet flavour of banana and malt with notable citric notes, a good deal of yeast and high carbonation. Sourish and rather mild aftertaste. I have no idea why it is classified as a Dunkelweizen. For me it is just a decent German Hefeweizen.

0.5l bottle. Orange body, off-white head. Aroma of banana with a noticeable spicyness. Pretty weak taste. Mostly banana and pepper. Watery mouthfeel. Nothing bad about it, but a bit too weak for me.

Poured into weizen glass with towering fluffy head, beautiful orange/amber color with very fine carbonation. Aroma and taste are a lot lighter than would be expected for this style. Little to no aftertaste, and mouth fell leans towards the watery side. taste that is there has hints of oranges, bread, bananas, clove. Finishes on the dry side.
