Graal version, commissioned by Sublim which has meanwhile been replaced by Traagwater. This one had a delicate, sticky, off-white head and hazy, brownish amber colour. Lots of nutty and caramelly malts in the nose, peach, melon, banana, pear, candi sugar, pepper, ginger, marzipan, cocoa, cinnamon, lemon peel. Fruity taste with a light sourish accent, then becoming fully nut-like malty, light sweetish, powdery yeasty palate, spicy notes, mild hop bitterness in the finish.

Bottled@Belgobaren, Stockholm (old backlog from about 2010). Deep amber colour with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is mild spices, some fruity and floral notes along with sweet maltyness. Flavour is rather similar with mild burnt sugary notes as well. Balanced, pleasant and nicely bodied.

Bottle, 7.7%. Mild caramelly aroma. Cloudy brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is slightly vinous, has a little caramel and a faint roasted hint. Tastes like a Dunkelweizen until the alcohol kicks in in the finish.

Bottled (Bottled 07/2006)
Amber color, big cloudy white head. Fruits, metal, yeast and alcohol in the aroma. Medium-bodied, malty, good balanced mouthfeel. Crisp hoppy and alcoholic flavor (in a good way). Although this is named as "amber", it is quite tripel-like. Enjoyable, although not very complex.
