Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Nosferatu, Sofia. Pours mostly clear light gold with a frothy, pure white head. Medium sweet flavour with notes of tangerine, lemon rind, booze, mellow pale bread, light bitter rind, a little golden raisin. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, restrained sweetness, some melon, semi-ripe lemon, peach. Nice overall.

Can picked up in Lambiczoon, Milan, consumed at home, 6th November 22. The beer pours a fairly clear golden, aroma is resinous, some pine and citrus pith, taste is pine and resin, caramelised orange. Pretty good stuff from Sofia. 2nd Bulgarian I’ve had this week, but the first one was sweeter.

Can courtesy of Lačezar, shared with Ogi and Hrabren. Hazy golden body, off-white head, small. Slightly oxidized aroma, fruity hoppiness, Weird tropical fruit compote aroma, bit tart. Lean, dry taste, bit earthy, bit herbal, some tropical yellow fruity. Dryish, okay, passable. Bit old but the promise is real.
