Bottle: Poured a hazy blonde ale with large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral Belgian malt with some spicy yeast notes also discernable. Taste is a refreshing mix between some floral malt with some light sweet notes and a peppery and spicy yeast finish. Full body with good carbonation and no alcohol could be detected. Refreshing and well done for the style even though finish could have been hoppier.

Bottle from Dranken Geers. 2003 bottle. Hazy gold, thin white head. Some yeast, some lemon fruit, little bit of syrup. It’s fine in mouth, quite thick, then a lemon/sourish finish. Very interesting, good character. Very drinkable and that sourish edge on end really works.

Bottle. It pours a slightly hazy golden body with a big, creamy, diminishing white head leaving nice lacings. The aroma has pale malt, some fruityness and a little spicnyness. Fruity, spiced aroma with pale malt and some bitterness, but in the finish, the spicyness is the most prominent. Effervescent, medium full mouthfeel. Maybe a bit boring, and feeling a little one-dimentional, but quite pleasant. The flavor is better than the aroma, and the flavor is off course the most important aspect of the beer. (080411)

Bottle, 6.5%. Nicely spicy and citric aroma. Cloudy yellow/orange colour. Very big white head, quite stable. The flavour is very citric, like fresh lemon juice. There is some bitterness in the finish staying very late. High carbonation. This reminds me of witbier, very refreshing.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy, pale golden with a white head - looks pretty much like a typical Witbier. Vaguely tart nose with a touch of yeast. Medium-bodied with a lightly sweet maltiness. Some vaguely tart accents from the wheat and then a fresh fruitiness with some aroma hops without really being bitter. For once a fairly interesting Belgian Blonde Ale. 070706
