KOLABORACIJA rides again!
The third collaboration of Nova Runda Brewery,Zmajska pivovara and Varionica craft brewery was brewed here In Varionica brewery in Pisarovina. The plan was to make a very aromatic beer that is drinkable considering the heat that is putting pressure on the region this summer. After an demanding meeting, the selection fell on micro NEIPA. So, we brewed New England IPA with intense citrus aromas of hops, richly dry hopped, rounded taste, but micro – only 2.7% alcohol! Riwaka, Cryo Citra and Cryo Mosaic are responsible for the rich citrus aroma of this beer and for only 15 IBU.

Bottle, 330 ml at Ambasada. Hazy orange with medium white head. Citrus, some tropical fruit, some onion, bit watery, thin as expected. Light bodied.

On tap @Angry Moose, Varaždin. Hazy yellow pour, one finger frothy white head, short lasting. Broken lacing on the glass. Herbal and fruity on the nose, citruses, pineapple. Light body, medium carbonation. Watery mouthfeel and texture, lightweight, easily drinkable. Bittersweet taste, light tart. Aroma of grains, grass, citruses, pineapple. Light cardboard, dusty, subtle spice. Somewhat empty towards the finish. Medium lasting finish, dry. Ok.

On tap at Goblet Zagreb. Murky yellow coloured, small to medium sized white head, light citrus and onion in the nose. Malty, watery, herbal, light citrusy and notes of onion with bitterish finish.

Tap at Pozoj Fest. Murky full yellow body, white head. Pineapple citric herbal aroma, gummy bear notes. Lean, grainy taste, soft, flowery, honeyish, pineapple, lightly citric, herbal touches, vague onion, gummy touche, malty, lightly bready touches. Good nuff.

Pozoj. Hazy pale yellow to orange, small off-white head. Moderately hoppy, fruity, citrusy, zesty, ripe citrus, light onion, old socks. A minty touch. A watermelon touch. Light body, drinkable, thin, intense hoppy flavour, some hop burn, herbs, leaves, onion, ripe lemon or lime. Soft to moderate carbonation, soft bitterness, moderately lasting finish.
