Shared bottle at RB/HD at Bjørnøy 23.05.17. Orange golden. Fine off-white head and lacing. Strong aroma of American hops, citrus and tropical fruits. Similar, and very bitter, taste. A hint of carrot. Also some Sevilla orange marmalade. Slightly earthy.

Shared 500 ml bottle, ABV is 7.8%. Deep golden to amber colour, white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity, piney and herbal hops. The hops in the slightly dry flavour are primarily piney, a bit one-dimensional.

Bottled:
Pours dark amber with a slight haze. Big, thick head. Sweet, malty aroma with notes of toffee and syrup. Sweet flavour with notes of bitter almonds. Some hops and alcohol in the finish.
Tastes more like an English Strong Ale than an IPA.

Bottle split at Amager Brewery mini tasting, RBESG ’15 day 3, thanks to Papsoe, 22/08/15. Clear golden copper with a well appointed light beige covering that retains well. Nose is caramel malt, sweet fruit notes, toffee, light spice. Taste comprises sweet candied fruits, floral notes, caramel malt, some buttery notes but not in a fucked up diacetyl way. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. So so for style, kind of an old skool IPA, overly sweet and malty for my liking.
