Bottle. Dark brown color. Vinous aroma with vinegar and maggi. Thick, sugary and syrupy. Salt. Vinegar, maggi. Diluted version of Sam Adams Triple Bock. This one tastes just as bad, but is more sugary.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Maple syrup in the aroma. Sweet flavor with caramel, licorice and hints of tobacco. Sticky mouthfeel. Not too bad.

Bottle @ joes. Best before 2007. Hazy copper colour with no head. Smells nuts, wood. Tastes very sweet, malts, nuts. Full body, soft carbo.

Bottle BBF 2007, thanks to Joes. Reddish color, virtually no head. Smell and taste malts, some sourness, some molten plastic. Heavy alcoholic, with some weirdness. Surprisingly it’s not that bad, so for this brewery this is a step forward.

rood/bruin vlokkerig/troebel met schuimig beige kraag aroma: vreemde geuren komen er uit het glas na het schenken, wijn, zoet, mout.en wat andere niet identificeerbare geuren smaken: medium zoet, licht bitter, donker fruit, citrus, aarde mouten, sinasappel, wijn, metaal, zuur medium body, zuur/wrang. vreemd bier, unieke ervaring --- Beer merged from original tick of IJsbier on 18 May 2018 at 11:41 - Score: 6

Bottle 300ml.Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, shoe polish, dark tobacco. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, oxidide notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111001]

Bottle. Dark brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit and caramel. Flavour is malt, caramel, fruit, wood, oxidized and a little toffee.

Bottle @ Autumn Tasting, Ulfborg 2011. Pours cloudy amber with a small white head. Sweet and nutty nose and flavor with a heavy oxidation and dusty note. Medium bodied.
