Update: 16 oz can at the grill. Ive had this beer a dozen times since the first time, and it grows on me everytime. A solid pils that's refreshing and flavorful... It’s crazy that I am just now trying this beer for the first time. For one reason or another, this beer is always so easy to find on draft, but is always hidden behind an impressive starting lineup. I bought this to finally try it, and to see what was so great about it to always be featured in so many places around here, and likely everywhere. Pours a clear pale yellow color with almost no head. Corn heavy aroma and flavor. Very dry. Low in overall flavor. Not a great pilsner for me. Mostly forgettable, but still wouldn’t call it bad.

0.5 l bottle, best before 8 /1/2016. Clear, straw yellow with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-grassy aroma of straw, cereals and sweet malt. Sweetish, grassy-malty taste of straw, cereals and sweet malt, followed by a short, slightly bitter, grassy finish. Thin body, slightly fizzy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid and boring, too sweet and not hoppy enough for a real pilsener. Quaffable and refreshing, though.

Pajiza muy burbujeante. Dos dedos de espuma muy blanca y duradera. El aroma es muy escaso, dificil sacar matices. En boca tiene buena entrada, buen punto de gas y resulta muy refrescante y bebible con buen equilibrio. El caracter es seco y el final amargo. 11.2 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is standard for style--bready malt, spicy hops, light grass. Pours clear honey gold with a large white fluffy head that reduces to a centimeter after a minute. Taste is crisp and clean, average sweetness and bitterness. Light hay in flavor. Watery texture. Not bad.

Keg at the Oakford Social Club, Reading. Clear gold with a white head and too much prickly fizz. Very buttery at first, and not in a good way. Grassy hops come to dominate in the moderately bitter and dry finish. More hops and flavour than most pale lagers; unfortunately it’s not a flavour I like.
