Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 15/06/24. Deep mahogany brown with a light beige cap that escapes edgewards. Nose is fruit cake mix, spice, dark malts, toffee melt, molasses, mellow bourbon rip. Taste comprises dates, figs, caramelised sugars, bourbon spike, toffee fudge, brown sugar melt, raisins. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rip of alcohol. Solid kit.

Can. Near clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and soft palate, a mild viscosity, modest fine carbonation, fine for the style. Smooth malts, creamy caramel, not that sweet, a little burned toffee underneath. Back end is all about the barrell. A modest boozy spice a nd abundant bourbon soaked ripe fruits. Comes together well. Satisfies on many levels if lacking that bit of ephemeral pixie dust to take it to the highest level.

Dark brown and hazy with thin head. Intense aroma of sweet Bourbon. Thick, oily texture. Sweet start then into some toasted grains. Pleasant hit of warming Bourbon in the finish.
