Can. Ash, chocolate malt, straw and solventy alcohol aroma. Dark chestnut brown with moderate head. Moderately sweet chocolate malt, cardboard, and light bitter hay flavor. Very light body. Okay but not great.

500ml can: (as Wolters Black Beer) Dark, clear, rubied-black with a thick tan head. Dark chocolate, slightly smoky aroma. Taste is chocolate malt, roasty malt, a touch of licorice, a light earthy/mineral bitter. Decent, but a touch watery.

Can sample at a tasting at Lior D’s place. Thanks avrashi. Canned 7/2013. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is oxidized with cardboard, caramel, dark fruits. Sweet oxidized flavor with caramel, cardboard, a bit of fruitiness. Light to medium-bodied. Not awful for a 4 year old industrial beer.

Yes, again a 0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Dark red brown in the glass, big light beige head. Low malt on the nose. Taste starts malty, not very intensive, little bit toasted. Sourish notes way behind in the background. Little bit grainy to the end. Easy to drink, nothin´ really wrong but to be honest boring.

Thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Starts mild, malty, only light roasty. Dry background. Some bitter notes. Could be more balanced. Okay.

Huge beige head. Opaque black body goes clear brown at edge. Soy sauce and caramel aroma with mineraly licorice notes. Sweetish roasty licorice taste with caramelly notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish mineraly wooden aftertaste with vegetable and licorice notes. Hints of butter, but no more. It’s an OK beer, but nothing I’d buy again. (0.5l can, from Vinbudin Kringlan.)

Herb-malziger Antrunk, leichte Röstigkeit. In Mittelteil etwas süß, was aber schnell wieder verschwindet. Spritzig, erstaunlich wenig nach einem Schwarzbier. Ok. 9/8/8/7//8 --- Beer aliased from original tick of Wild Bison on 29 Jun 2018 at 19:19 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4.5.
