10 jaar samen met Angela. Prima reden.. Bier valt flink tegen. IJzer, zurig, vreemd.

Thuis uit een flesje. Helder goudgele kleur, weinig schuim. Sterk in alcohol, proef je ook wel. Licht zoete nasmaak, beetje vreemde smaak toch, maar niet onaardig.

Bottle from Albert Heijn. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, toffee caramel, gluey, hay. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, gluey toffee, light woody hop bitter, light alcohol palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Tasted in 2002, as Arcener Winterbier: a sweet, raisinny aroma. The sweetness returns in the taste, with fruit (apple, raisins) and alcohol. A slight hopbitter finish. 7 4 7 4 12 = 3.4 Tasted as Hertog Jan Winterbier in january 2019. Bready, floral, soft citric aroma with anis. Malty sweet citric flavor with cake and soft spices. Drinkable. Not really characterful
