Een krachtige bier om de eerste herfst stormen te doorstaan. In de traditie van Nederlandse bokbieren valt onze bokbier op door haar stevige smaak. Zeker niet overdreven zoet!

This is a very malty beer with a light sweetness but also a floral aroma because of its hop profile. A refreshing beer for spring – or even just throughout the whole year.

Bottle at home. Aroma of malt, bread, some caramel, fruity notes, spicy notes, honey, hint of hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Pleasant Meibock, smooth and well-balanced.

Tap at KBC, Den Bosch: Amber looking decent good looking Meibok, named after the late Andre Hazes, a singer in the Dutch language.

Tap at the pub. Orange color, haze, short bubby head which disappears. Flavors are mild malty with some sour/earthy notes,, woody finish with varnish. Well hopped leading to a medium bitter taste.

Another above average beer from this small Amsterdam brewery. Frothy head. Slightly citric aroma, just a bit milky and cheesy. Yeasty hoppy flavor with some pineapple. Almost burnt flavor, a bit sharp. Decent maibock.

Tap at De Prael Den Haag. Bit hazy orange golden with off white head. Light caramel, sweet malts, light peach. Lots of nice sweet malts and some dried fruits, light hop and just a touch of weird dead yeasty aftertaste. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with solid malty mouthfeel. Not bad!
