500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is unmistakably Mezcal-oriented, with moderate smoked meat, medium roast, tobacco, and a hint of dark fruits. Flavour is rich, with lots of smoked meat, tobacco, Mezcal barrels, a bit of roast, and a touch of dark fruits. Complex, rich, and meaty, with plenty of barrel character. Very nice.

Waxed 500 from the Stevens Creek Total Wine in San Jose, CA. Pours dark brn/blk with a large foamy dark tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate and mezcal/agave. Full bodied. Flavor is spirit (Mezal no doubt), chocolate, toasted/burnt malt, and wood that's not exactly oak, but at least not musty. Quite a different flavor this bottle!

Poured from a 500ml bottle. Aroma is malt forward with lots of chocolate and lighter roast notes. A bit of dark caramel and toffee with lighter notes of tobacco and leather. Medium light mezcal notes with light alcohol and oak notes. Pours jet black with a medium large, thick, dark, mocha head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and medium length legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with lots of chocolate malt notes. Lighter roast, toffee, dark caramel and a bit of tobacco and honey. Light oxidation notes of sherry. Moderate bitterness and light alcohol note. Moderate mezcal note with faint oak. Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid eclipse with a lot of mezcal character. I don't love mezcal, but it works pretty well with the eclipse
