Our latest Winter Seasonal is everything you‘ve come to expect from Richie and the team. We were thrilled to get a supply of Emmer wheat from Cornstown House in Ashbourne for this brew. Emmer is an ancient grain and was very important to Ireland’s first Neolithic farmers, and now brewers on Dublin’s Northside! The wheat is estimated to be at least 10,000 years old and having it part of the grain bill gives this stout a unique link to the past.

Can picked up at Meny (Frederiksberg) and drunk at home (24/06/2022) - New 🇮🇪 brewery ✅ black with a beige head. Roasted dark malty with notes of cocoa, charred brown sugar, coffee roast, some hoppy undertones, ashy roasted malty finish. Decent.

Appearance: Dark brown, clear. Dark, tan head. Aroma: Dark malt, well-roasted. Some dark chocolate and coffee. Taste: Dark malt, nicely roasted. Some coffee notes. Smooth. Bought: Drinks of the World (Bern), 440 ml can, CHF 6.80 Info: 17/4-2022, BB: 23/9-2022

can at sunflower Belfast... dark black... small tan head... soft sweet... rich chocolate.. light pine roast.. dark malts

Black with creamy head. Aroma and flavour have loads of sweetened coffee. Bitter and sweet with a hint of vanilla. Very intense.

440ml can as part of a delivery from KWM Wines, Kilkeel and drunk at home. Very dark brown and only slightly translucent with a quickly dissipating khaki head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, ash in the aroma. Taste is pretty bitter with a drying finish. It's let down a little bit by the watery body but all things considered it's a good dry stout.

Brownish black with a medium tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate malt. Flavour is dark chocolate malt, dry roast creamy finish.
