Bottle at the brewpub, Tiefenellern. Pours hazy amber with airy bit stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast, and banana. Sweetish flavour of malt and banana, with estery and grainy notes and hoppy touches. Sourish, grainy aftertaste with malty notes. High carbonation. Well, a decent beer for the style.

Big lasting creamy head. perfumed aroma. Yeasty, perfumed somewhat citric flavor. Just a bit thin. Orange afteratste, just a bit yeasty. Disappointing beer, the cologne flavor spoils it a bit.

Bottled 500ml. -from Weyermann Fan Shop Bamberg. Yellow/pale golden coloured, small white head, mild banana and whiff of spices in the nose. Mild wheaty and yeasty with notes of banana and cloves. Slightly spicy and watery finish. Pleasant but too light overall.

Very cloudy. Somewhat dusty, light banana. Very spritzy, yeasty. Quite sweet, light banana. Some malt character as well. Good, but probably too carbonated to bring all the flavours out properly.

Bottle at the brewpub. Good yeasty, lemony aroma. Quite cloudy dark yellow colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is mostly yeasty, has a little banana, but not much citrus. Flavourful, but I would have liked a bit of citrus to balance.

Bottled (the last night at the hotel). Yellowish amber colour, mediumsized longlasting slightly off-white head. Aroma is bananas, some spices, mild sweetish malts as well as some citrusfruits. Flavour is quite much the same along with some slight yeasty notes as well. Some yeast left in bottom of bottle as well. Refreshing and nice.

Bottle: Cloudy, yellow-amber coloured, stable lacy pillowy off-white head; strong aroma of sweet bananas, accompanied by a touch of wheat and a tinge of cloves; silky MF, moderate to sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; moderate sweetish-fruity and sourish finish plus a little tartness in the aftertaste. Extremely well crafted Weizen............
